SHARING FOOD IS OUR PASSION. GIVING BACK IS OUR MISSION!

We pride ourselves on staying involved in the community. From supporting local charity organizations to arranging food giveaways during the pandemic, sharing food is our passion. That’s why we are so proud of our staff who took extra time and effort to prepare over 2000 fresh meals yearly.

Throughout our journey, we learned firsthand about the alarming issue of food waste and how it affects our environment. From stocked warehouses, grocery stores, and restaurant kitchens to our pantries, we believe there is enough food to end hunger. We will continue working in the community, as sharing great food is rewarding and necessary. It has been our honor to be involved in such organizations as Special Olympics, Dallas Casa, Scottish Right Early Childhood PTA, Volunteers of Flight Museum, and many more. We have been mainly involved with the Gatehouse of Grapevine, the Ark of Hope, North Texas Food Bank, and Scottish Rite.

We are dedicated to doing good for other people in our community.

The Gatehouse of Grapevine

The Gatehouse is a unique, privately funded, supportive living community for single women and mothers ready to face constant change, domestic violence, underemployment, homelessness, poverty, or other crisis to heal and achieve self-sufficiency. The Gatehouse program lends a helping hand to aspiring, disadvantaged working women, enabling them to build a foundation for lasting independence.

Dallas Casa

We worked with this notable organization in 1992. They focus on rehabilitating troubled young men into well educated and productive members of society.

The Ark of Hope

Through the wonderful DFW Airport in 2019, we met Mr. Pugh, the founder of the Ark of Hope. Team Bugatti continued to support these organizations for years, and our employees started reaching out independently to prepare home-cooked meals for the residents. Later our vendors and guests donated enough food to fill these organizations’ pantries for months and months to come. In 2019 Air Force’s 301st Fighter Wing-Carswell Chief’s Group of Fort Worth, Texas, joined us in supporting the Ark of Hope and continued working with us throughout 2019.

During the pandemic, we witnessed the challenges faced by our peers in the hospitality industry. We needed to act. We also wanted to express our gratitude to medical professionals devoting their time to saving lives. Throughout the pandemic, we have arranged multiple drive-throughs and food giveaways for those who work in the hospitality and medical industries, furloughed employees, first responders, teachers, and low income families. During the pandemic, we stayed focused on finding creative ways to remain helpful and productive for the sake of our community.

We held Teacher Appreciation lunches was held monthly for years to host complimentary lunches for teachers in the Dallas and Coppell areas.

With the help of Mr. Tom Black and Ms. Jane Walters we kicked off dinner events, where a percentage of proceeds went to North Texas Food Bank. Later this practice would be adopted by hundreds of establishments statewide. To show our appreciation to the volunteers of the North Texas Food Bank, we hosted quarterly appreciation lunches to treat the volunteers.

One of our most favorite event took place in Dallas Parkland Hospital on Thanksgiving of 1993. We set up a buffet line at the hospital, since it was a holiday and the cafeteria was closed. We treated the families to a great homemade dinner with Bugatti favorites and traditional Thanksgiving food, and presents for kids.

Howdy Ice Cream – is our latest involvement. We are providing consulting, and offering opportunities to this wonderful business that only employs people with intellectual disabilities. We would love to see this business grow and continue to positively impact people with special needs.

Over the history of Bugatti, we have sponsored, and provided meals for hundreds of events, gave away countless give certificates to various charitable organizations, and fed thousands of people. We are proud of being involved in such important causes, spreading the message of ending food insecurities.
